Exaggerating Staff

Have you ever been to a forum where they act like the easiest things are so hard to do? It's like it takes an act of congress to get anything done.



For example, you request a new mod, and it is highly favored by the members, but staff act like it's going to be so much work and all that nonsense. It's funny, because it really doesn't take but a few minutes for most mods to be installed.

i see what you mean



when i used to work as a.admin on forumer fmods i used to hear the staff go over things at every meeting for about a month.. something as simple as rewriting the forum category's.. having lazy staff was not helping though.



on the other hand with forums as important as fmods and various other boards like Nebulous pointed out things need to be thought through and planned even if its as simple as just adding a forum.. its still a forum 'change' what needs to made.

I know quite a few people like that, with some additions, I do however, act like it is a bigger deal than it should be, but that's only when I have no idea how to add it nor do I know anyone that could, but usually I will come out with it by either subliminally or directly saying it. Though, I do tend to purposely act like the littlest things are the biggest of deals as a joke, and I downgrade the big things.

Good Lord, Nebulous, those two topics were a debate by themselves! Honestly, it takes, what, two minutes to create a new forum? Not even two minutes? And here they were making a huge debate out of making a debate section!

I know that feeling. Make banners make banner. Dude we have like 10 skins.. and you want someone to make all 10 banners for 10 different skins.. kidding me right.



oh we need this and this and that and this and there with this and that and this but add a little of that and this to make that perfect with a little of something good that one over there, but in the other hand add some of this to taht, because i think that is good yeah..
