For me personally at least anyways, my favourite African dish is : grilled fish with fried rice and banana plantains. yum. I can have it for a 5$ deal from a Haitian lady over here at a local African restaurant. And you personally? Have you ever tried it yet or not personally? And if yes, what are your favourite African foods in your opinion?

Mine is African salad with grilled fish and a lot of garden eggs. I eat it every weekend at a popular joint around my place here.
I'm really kind of at a loss about this question, too; I'm sure there are no African restaurants here; I've never been to an African restaurant or seen foods designated as 'African' in a grocery store. I wonder if that might be because there are so many countries & diverse cultures in Africa.

Some of that looks pretty interesting; lots of available local veggies, fish, meats. I even spotted some okra in one of the pictures; "Also known as chicken muamba, this is a spicy, somewhat oily stew made with with palm oil or palm butter, garlic, chilis and okra. Variations of chicken muamba, such as poulet moambé, are to be found all over the Congo River region, where it’s often served with cassava leaves and white rice.
