I know, it’s a shame the new owners didn’t continue on with the software. Instead they gutted it and forced everyone onto their lame ass platform.

Indeed. I remember several years ago before forums were responsive on mobile browsers, tapatalk had a plug-in you could install on your forum to make your forum work with their mobile app. Their app was always glitchy, regular members could see forums they didn’t have permissions for (staff forum for example) and hackers could find a way into your forum due to tapatalks crappy coding. We had to get rid of it.

Everyone on ZB lost their themes, plug-ins, customizations, etc. Also their forum was no longer a forum, it was called a “tapatalk group” or something like that. :roll:

From what I’ve seen every single member ceases all activity on any forum that converts to tapatalk. Wonder why they keep buying out other forum hosts when all they do is alienate members and chase them away. They probably lose money on each acquisition. :shrug:

Wouldn't shock me if they just sell the information. I fail to see how TT can make money otherwise when every service it has probably purchased took the offer because it was struggling for money (such as the case with ZB).

Also, nice to see another face I'm familiar with from the ZB days here @Cedric!

Did you notice an uptick in spam emails once tapatalk took over? Every board you ever registered on has your email associated with your account.
