What type/brand of alcohol will you never drink again and why?

Wine ("I said, I had a bad experience") and tequila. I am a living testament to all the horror stories anyone's every heard about tequila.

Except Tequila Rose...that doesn't count as tequila, dammit.

The one and only time I drank alcohol, I got so sick that I thought I was going to die. Here's the culprit:

my parents actually ran away from home when i was 15 after me and my sister and our boyfriends had a day of southern comfort. they moved back in a year later and i was moved out into my own apartment with my boyfriend. good times. 35 years ago. so me too, i will never drink it again.

Urrrrrr it was a bit of a mix, gin and a little too much puff puff ... my beautiful Indian sandals are still at the bottom of Lake Manitou, Quebec 40 years later. lol

I'm still thinking about it... ...

And this comes up now and again, even though I can see the distillery from my house.

Apple Strudel flavored rum:

19% ALC/VOL 38 Proof
Tastes as good as it sounds! Made with real apple juice, whether having it warm, chilled...or splashing it over some ice cream for that A La Mode effect, this spirit is perfect for all seasons!

But again, IF you bought it, I wouldn't want to offend you if you offered, so....

I need to add Jagermeister to the list under consideration.

When I was working at the convention center, one of the chefs had an eternal supply of it that he would pour out of for anybody that stayed to help close.

I drank my fair share of it. But only under duress.

It's hard to describe the taste of that stuff, it tastes like somebody dumped the entire spice rack into a bottle of Southern Comfort. It is really sweet, and has an aftertaste you can remember years later.

But if I ever went back to work there, and the new chef poured it into a coffee cup... .... ....
