Forum World vs. Real World

Do you keep your personal life and your forum life separate?



As in, you don't talk about forums out in the real world.. Everyone you know in the forum world, you do not know in the real world?

Aside from 1-2 friends, yes I keep everything separated. They'd think I'm a nerd if I told them anyway.

Most of my friends and family know I have a computer help forum and some of them are members.



As far as I'm concerned the more folks that know the better.

ive got freinds from a forum who are also 'friends' away from it too............as in facebook,email,msn, etc........ a few i have met...........got one who became my partner

I'm too damned dumb to try to live a double, or triple, life and keep it all separate.

Haha none of my RL friends know about forums...I remember in Spanish class, we learned the word for forum and everyone was like 'what's that?' except for one other person besides me. XD Anyway...I have mentioned a name like soandso said this or something and they'll ask who that is and I'll say that it's a friend...no big deal. XD

I sometimes advertise my forums on Facebook, but all of my irl friends who join never seem to stay long.

Also if I had irl friends on the internet, I would have to watch more on what I say :/
