Lets say that you just sold or trashed ALL your forums and you are about to start fresh with a new one. Based on what you've learned from your previous experiences, what would you do differently? Is there anything that you would change or did everything run as expected?

My first forum I was much younger. I thought if I made it I would have 100 members in a week, boy was I wrong but like I said I was young and naive. Now I would focus on the small details and be patient with what the future holds.

I wouldn't do anything differently. I like the way things are going on this forum.

I've made a fresh start when it comes to running a forum, when my previous one (from as far as 2005) sucked and didn't do very well and thought about starting this sort of thing again since March 2008 and then viola, RX Community was born

I've thought about starting up my own forum again, even considered purchasing the domain name I have in mind and using paid hosting. The only thing stopping me is my fear of not having enough time to work with it.

If I did go through with it, I would definitely get someone else to help me out right from the get-go.

I'd never start a new forum of my own. I've only done so once and noticed I don't enjoy running a forum.

I wouldn't change anything with my current forum but organization is extremely important. Your members need to know where to go by simply glancing at your forum boards whenever you first start a forum.

Would never choose forum services or general discussion as genres. I would also ensure all my forums will be extensions to main websites that can already hold their own traffic.

I wouldn't do anything different I'm content with how things are going. I mean I'm used of being a single admin so when I promoted a friend to be an admin it made things a little bit more challenging but it's better cause I have more than one opinion.

I wouldn't change anything this time around because we are really doing well finally. Although if I ever did start afresh I would have my thoughts organized and know just what I wanted to do. I believe the only thing I did right this time around was get someone to help me.
