I have had a fried twinkie.   I liked it.

I love fried zucchini (with ranch to dip them in)

I tried it too and didn't like it either. At the state fair, they actually had fried grasshoppers.

I had it fresh from this place by the sea... But they could have messed it up. I dunno, I only had it once.

I can deep fry almost anything. And, for the most part, I have.

I even made deep fried Brussels Sprouts and so my wife would eat them!

She liked them roasted on the grill too.

Fried cola balls...they had them down at the NC State Fair a few years ago; they're actually not that bad. Its' basically the syrup used in fountain machines for Coca-Cola rolled in flour, cinnamon & sugar, then deep fried...

i'd try that...

maybe not cola but something else like root beer or something...
