So how many friends would you say you have on forums?

Like people you have established a relationship with, can express yourself freely to, you look forward to talking to them everyday, things like that..

I have about 2 or 3 real good friends..

Around 10 regular friends..

500 acquaintances .

There are only three forums I've liked enough to make friends on. I have a lot of superficial online friends and then around 7 I can really talk to.

About zero. Most of those people just added me to keep promoting every board they open up. Really I have learned not to put out my screen name out like that anymore. If one was genuinely interested in talking to me outside of the forums, then sure, I'll be their friend.

Added you to their instant messenger list?

If so, yeah I know how you feel. I havent been on MSN for months because of it.

It was just people asking me to look at this and look at that.. Click this and click that. Join this and join that. Even asking to borrow money (by paypal) and make them graphics all the time... Oh and drama between rival forums FA and FP... People from the forums would come to me complaining about what a staff member from the other forum said or did..

It just all because too much.

Yeah, right.....

I have 3 'online' friends that I talk with daily--phone or in person.

another 2 that I email with regularly.

And 2 or 3 that I really enjoy posting with.

FA I made quite a few friends.

FP I made probably 2 or 3

Backstreet I've been there for 3 years total, and I would say I've probably made more friends there than almost any forum I joined.

One really, really good friend (Co-admin of UW), and an unknown amount of other friends

Yes. It's just a whole lot of random group chats with members of the network I really couldn't stand filled with random conversations and fast chatting. I really am considering just getting rid of my screen name.

I have a few good friends online. Some i talk to every now and then, and others that are just on my MSN because i know them.

I honestly have no idea.

A ton acquaintances, that's for sure. I'm only extremely active on 2 forums, meaning I get on every day for quite a long time.

#1 - uh...4-5 CLOSE friends and some not so close friends.

#2 - I joined over a year ago, but just now got really into it a few months ago and really made some friends - about the same amount of close friends as the first one.
