Getting paid to post on forums

And then some mod or admin will start telling you what to post.

Or worse there’ll be loads of one-liner posts, looking like an attempt to boost post counts

Yes of course, there are so many jobs of paid to post on forums. I have been on it for years since 2011. Back in the days of The Forum Wheel and Postloop, they were the biggest paid to post websites.

to post in forums is not a job

but in this way, the forums will make the visitors to be active

Some forums do pay posters. They’re very active, sure, but it can barely be called a community

I found myself on such a site where a good majority of the members were concerned about getting paid. I had no idea that was even going on but after seeing the discussions about it, I kinda felt like it really did not feel like a community.
I mean if that's what some do, I can't judge, I just don't feel it's a place I would want to be. Wouldn't feel authentic to me.
