Not really. I have to exhaust every rational explination - no matter how absurd - before saying I don't know what made the noise/movement/whateverwentwrong. Even then I don't say it's ghosts, I'll just admit that I don't know what happened.
I once got lost hiking in a state park. I walked around in circles trying to find the path that would lead me to the parking area. It was a cold day and I didn't see any other hikers around nor did anyone answer me when I was yelling for help. I sat down on a rock and just prayed to my dad who had died several years earlier to help me find my way out of there as it was becoming dark. All of a sudden I looked up and there was a small cottage. I ran to the cottage to ask for help but when I approached the cottage, it disappeared and I was standing at the opening to the parking area. I found a park ranger and asked him about the cottage. He told me he worked in that park for 30 years and there is no cottage. Freaked me out and he must have thought I was nuts! I knew then it was my Dad that led me to safety. Do I belive, you bet I do.

I only believed in anything remotely paranormal if I have witnessed it myself as well. I always put other stories into consideration since there is a undeniable amount of people who have claim to have seen ghosts. Unlike a lot of other stories related to mythological folklore a lot of these people never believed in ghosts to begin with, which I believe makes a difference. I'm not saying anything is disproved if you believed in it before you had the experience but I still think there is a chance someone might try to make it something fitted to their beliefs. Hope that makes sense.
As for myself... I have witness these events more then once when it came to ghosts. My parents have experienced this years before that as well which they never told me of until I started telling them about my experiences. It started out with a really weird feeling like someone was standing behind you (It was always in the kitchen when it started out) until actually seeing figures in the living room.
Now that I live in a different apartment the events have happened less frequently, but it's still there. Not that same people or even the same instances, of course.
Summing that up... I do believe in ghosts!
I don't personally believe this subject can really be debated in my opinion, since it's more experiences then anything else.
