Well i've noticed I make forums that already have a BIG forum about them. My question is, what is a good subject or, niche(if I am correct) can i make a forum based off of so I get active members, and not a bunch of people who join and never return.

So make a forum about one of those things.

If you are running a forum about a specific niche, it should something you have knowledge about.

True, I guess what my issue is, is trying to advertise it. Make it known.

The first step to making a website known is deciding what you're going to be about, the incorrect belief is that if you're a general discussion forum you can appeal to more people and thus garner popularity enormously higher than adversaries, but that's not always the case, there is thousands of general discussion forums, they're a dime a dozen.

Why not pay someone to help you advertise the website?
