Does anybody use Google AdSense, or something similar?



I recently put AdSense on my website, so hopefully I'll get something from it. I'm going to be watching it closely over the next few days, and update my website and category filters.

Yea, I have in the past.



Its only worth it if you have high visitors daily though.

Adsense banned my account and wont ever let me re-join. They said I had invalid clicks.. But I dont know what caused that. I appealed several times but they wont hear me out.

Ive read several articles about people suing google to win their earnings back in court.

Probably meaning that you are either clicking your own ads or encouraging others to do so. Google are too strict, that's why i use Bidvertiser.

Did neither of those but they wouldnt listen.

I've been cycling through my ads to find anything I don't want advertised.



I only clicked once or twice, should be okay.

You should defiantly not click you own ads, that will get you banned for sure.

Dont be surprised if you get banned and never paid. Just giving you a heads up.

I don't think Google are such a dictatorship as to be that trigger happy.

They really are, people who have thousands of dollars in their accounts get them closed for things like that.

With a forum like Off Topix, it would be hard for AdSense to find anything suitable though.

Acutally they banned FA.

I've already filtered Dating, Religion and Weight Loss in my Ad Review Center. If I encounter any others, I'll filter them. No need to stop ads that aren't coming in.

It doesnt matter what your site is about or what content is on it. They just ban people at random. LIke I said, they have had several lawsuits against them.

Some people have a good relationship with them but more seem to get screwed.

I'm not sure if you can read threads when you are not logged in, but here's a lot of stories etc from Google Adsense.

I found ONE on that page, about some bitching because after a year their account is still banned, but they admitted their guilt.
