Google AdSense

Well you will be pretty angry when you've displayed their ads for months, they dont pay you and instead thank you by banning you.

Don't say nobody warned you.

If you don't think you will make much money, you may as well just sell private or do link exchanges, just my opinion though.

I don't use them but I use to use bidvertiser, followed there rules and never had a problem with them and got some money out of them in the long run

My account with them is temporarily suspended,so instead of ads it shows PSAs (Public Service Announcement). When my account wasn't suspended I made $10 in one month but, my site was only up for a month with ads.

I've been cycling through my ads to find anything I don't want advertised.

I only clicked once or twice, should be okay.

I'd recommend not clicking on any of your ads. It can and will get you banned.

With a forum like Off Topix, it would be hard for AdSense to find anything suitable though.

I'll have to tread carefully, then.

Google don't like ads displayed on websites that reward members for participating. A reward can include forum cash in addition to real money. You might want to consider that before installing their ads.

I put Ad Sense onto my forum, haven't really got the traffic to earn the money yet, but hopefully it'll build up soon, already have £34 though, need £60 to be paid.

I haven't done much as far as my ads go recently, although I still check my AdSense page daily and regularly cycle through to remove any unwanted ads - those '1 tip of a flat belly' ads are stupid and annoying. The URL that they use redirects to theirs, so I've put both on my Competetive Ad Filter. That probably won't eliminate them, though.

I haven't made any posts or told anybody to click, although I've earned nearly $4.50. For the amount of visits my website gets, I would consider that quite good.
