At school, I am just sooooo sick of being called gay or a girl. I am male and completely straight and have no problem with gay, lesbian or bi.sexual people.

I have been getting bullied recently, I know being called gay isn't that much, after all it is just a word. But, I have been getting really sensitive about the term and can't stand it anymore...
 
Sorry to hear that, have you told any adults at your school about it?

I'd tell your parents/Gardian or step up and try your best to tell someone at school, because it isn't alright be be bullied.
 
Yeah, I have told my parents and they rang up the school, nothing much has been done...

Then something should be done about the school not doing much because they should be dealing with this.

Now, at lunch, my only choice is to 'hide' in the school library...

You shouldn't hide.. I've been told if you look like your scared and hide you'll be picked on more because you look like an easy target, so always stand tall and act covident and if they keep calling you names tell them to fuck off, lol. Maybe its not your style to swear but if they are constantly calling you names and stuff and teachers aren't dealing with it tell them off say you've had enough and if you get in trouble for swearing tell the teacher or whoever that you guys didn't do anything so.
 
I think you should try and stand up for yourself. I mean, you know you don't deserve this, right? You need to do something about it. Don't just sit there and wait.

Yeah, if you continue to take shit by these kids you'll keep getting picked on, I don't know how brave you are.. but by the sounds of it you are a pretty shy person if you are having troubles telling a teacher or something about this, but if they aren't going to deal with it, you should step up and tell them off.
 
Well... The thing is... This group of people... Aren't your average 13 year old kids, they have pulled knifes on people, sent people to hospital...

I am too scared to stand up for myself.

And then most of my mates are turning on me, calling me gay...
I don't know what I have done wrong to deserve this.

Alright, well maybe it isn't a good idea to stand up against people like this then.. if the school dealt with it that would be a lot better. and if your mates are turning on you and calling you gay they aren't really your friends, that's not what friends do.

2) In what country to you live?
 
Interesting. Well, I don't have any other advice to give. Just try to stay strong, inside. It always works.
 
I was also bullied. I also did nothing wrong and didn't deserve it. Don't ever think you're the one doing something wrong. THEY are the ones doing something wrong. The way I dealt with it and it worked was to ignore them. See, bullies bully to get a reaction from you. If you give them NO reaction, they soon get bored and move on to their next victim. The more you hide, it's only going to get worse. Stop hiding, hold your head up and ignore the little bastards.
