I have had an electric Ibanez guitar hanging on my wall for quit some time now, and i have decided i was going to put it to good use. I'm currently learning the basic chords online. Does anybody have any good sites that help beginners get the hang of things?

Just listening (and when you can, watching videos) to music is a good way to help learn (at least worked for me, though when I was learning, there wasn't YouTube...). The 'technical' work is just a lot of repetition and exercise, like learning just about anything new.
