Sad news folks,

The forum was hacked today and my most recent backup was taken on Thursday.  So we've lost 4 days worth of data.  I did a lot of work on the new theme as well and that was all lost so it'll be back once I've edited it back to the way I had it.

:arrow: :arrow: I think it would be a good idea that everyone change their passwords just to be on the safe side.

As a security measure, I went ahead and updated the forum to the latest version of MyBB.

Uh oh, Nebulous. T_T I was so sad when I came back home and saw the forum was down. I hope everything goes okay.

We're up now, any posts or new members created in the last four days have been lost. It's a little depressing that something like this would happen. :(

I will be making backups daily from here on out. Its a shame my latest one was 4 days old.

This is another reason to upgrade to 1.8. Deprecated versions of the board may reduce the security level of this forum even more.

1.8 forums have been hacked too.

If you go to the Mybb Community support forums, it's crazy how many people have been messed up today.

What a shame but at least not all was lost. Could have been a lot worse and we could have lost everything.

But, I lost all my post. I had to re-register a new account.

I'm so sorry this happened.. I was just on last night before bed and everything was fine, but when I logged on this morning. Ugh, I'm here for you Nebulous. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

Well that it explains it....I had to go through the requesting bit, because of this, but that's fine...My password has been changed again....

I'm on another site, Blogster, that has gone through the same thing.....Some one, or some people hacked into it, and has done a lot of crazy things there.....They're still working on it, as of yesterday....Haven't been on today, yet, so, I'm hoping that it's been taken care of on there too.....

seems like mybb is getting all sorts of messed up recently...

I downgraded to a silver medal from a gold medal, oh well, didn't want it anyways... :P
