When it comes to playing video games, there are some games which are very good when it comes to frustrating the person who is playing it. I've had such experience with playing Souls games like Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Sekiro : Shadow Die Twice Bloodborune and also shooting games like Call of Duty. I've hit my controllers a couple of times as a result of frustration but lucky not to have it damaged.

Ever smashed your gaming device out of frustration?

No but I've smashed a few guys out of frustration. Got some assault charges too. My girlfriend doesn't like violence so am trying to change my ways as well as my reputation.

While I have certainly broken a game system or two, it was by being clumsy, not from frustration. As much as I've certainly thought of throwing my phone against a wall when it pisses me off, I'm generally able to find other ways to calm myself pretty quickly after reminding myself 'bad idea- that would cost too much to fix.'.

I am usually gentle with my devices as I know that they cost a lot.

No cause I value the stuff I paid my hard earned money for lol.

Once back in 2008. I was playing DBZ Budokai on PlayStation 3 and I kept losing. Out of frustration, I threw the controller on the floor and it broke open.

I wouldn't dream of smashing a gaming device because I became frustrated at a game. If I am getting frustrated and it is getting too much, I will turn it off and walk away to do something else and calm down.

I have seen some who tend to take it out on their gaming devices though and I can imagine it becomes a very expensive hobby having to keep replacing things.

When I was a kid I'd throw the control down in anger, those things were tough back in the day because I never broke one.
