Cats and Dogs get so much Internet exposure. Have you got a 'unique' pet? Please share a picture with us (if you have one) and tell us about him/her.

My 'unique pet' is Miss Piggy. She's a pot bellied pig and was up for slaughter. I rescued her and have taught her to play Hide and Seek and Tag.

Here she is....

I've always wanted to have a pot bellied pig.

Here are two more 'unique pets' that I have:

Kooka - Blue Fronted Amazon Parrot

Kooka was rescued from an abusive situation. Her owner was a man who rarely feed her, cleaned her crate or paid any attention to her. To this day, she hates men. She was leery of me when I brought her home. After months of training her, she came out of her shyness. She speaks, mimics my dogs barking and can whistle all different kinds of songs.

Midnight

I got Midnight from a farm that was going bankrupt. He wasn't used to being ridden. I took it real slow with him as far as letting me get a saddle on him and sit on him. We started off slow but now he loves to go for long rides. He's very sweet and we have also ridden in local parades. He loves children and apple slices.

Thank you. Since I didn't get any paperwork on him, his equine veterinarian approximates his age to be 6 years old.

I used to have a ferret, which is unusual here in california since they're illegal. He just showed up at my house one day and I put flyers around the neighborhood but nobody responded. So I kept him for a few months until he escaped and went who knows where. :dontknow:

Since they're illegal, I'm not surprised no one responded to the flyer. He's a 'freeloading' ferret, and moved on to better places.

I have a dog. It rolls over, spins around, high fives and shakes a paw all upon request. Not very unique but still. :P

Your pets are AMAZING! <3

Years ago, I lived on some acreage ..and owned a kangaroo. His name was QANTAS :D

He too was going to be put down as a result of a small wildlife park closing down.

Hehehe when I was cooking on the stove sometimes .. he would just reach into the hot frypan and take the meat . He was bigger than me so yeah .. I didn't argue with him LOL. XD

Aww, how cool to have a pet kangaroo. What ever happened to QANTAS?

I have a half-wolf half-husky dog. He was given to me for my birthday a while ago. Probably one of the most beautiful dogs out there IMO. He has blue eyes.
