Have You Had Covid Yet?

I believe I had the early version that hit the states before it became full-blown. I remember day one I had a cough so hard I think I pulled a muscle, with continued coughing so bad I could not lay in bed and finally got pink eye. I had no after effects or loss of anything, just felt like an extreme bad cold.

Yes, I had COVID-19 back in October/November of last year. I was unable to go home to the funeral of my grandma after she passed. I thought it was a sinus infection at first, the symptoms I felt were a stuffy/runny nose, stuffy ears and a slight cough from nasal runoff.

Nope, then again never been tested lol - but felt normal all the time.

My hubby and I both had it at the same time. We had it at the beginning of December of 2020. My parents ended up having it at the same time we did. Luckily, we all got over it and we've all gotten our Covid shots (both of them). My hubby has a friend that got it around the same time we got it but he ended up passing away. But he had bad lungs to begin with and it's a lot harder on people who have other underlying conditions.

I felt like I just had a terrible cold. My hubby on the other hand.....he couldn't hardly get out of bed to go to the bathroom. He'd go take use the bathroom and then have to sit on the side of the tub for a minute to get his strength back enough to wash his hands and walk back to the bed. One day he tried to get out of bed to go to the bathroom and he didn't make it. He collapsed back on my side of the bed right before I walked back into the bedroom. I asked him what he was doing laying on my side of the bed and he said, "I didn't make it to the bathroom." Plus, I had to rig up something for him to sit on while he took a shower.

I got vaccinated last night via the Moderna / Covid vaccination. I go in at the end of this month for my second shot.
Lucky you :) people that are in their 20s and teens got to wait for five months or more yet. If no damn delays or are delays maybe just a year

Not knowingly. If I did, then either I was asymptomatic, or I just confused the symptoms with my regular cold/allergies :P .

Luckily, I was not infected with the coronavirus. It is a good thing because I do not want to experience what other people experienced during the course of this virus.

Neither my husband nor I have gotten it. We aren't exactly careful either. I'm sure we'll get it someday, but so far we've been fortunate to evade it.
