I have heard of some people actually use this HIV as a small scale bioweapon.



Have you guys heard of robbers that don't use knifes or guns but use syringes as a weapon? Also some corperate businesses or office politics use this against male opponents who have a weakness for woman.

I think that is a load of.. Err well you know where I'm getting. I don't believe a lot if it isn't sourced. Give me a source from a reliable newspaper, or editor (Not Wikipedia, as anyone can edit it), and maybe I'll believe that.



Using it as a weapon is crazy, and I have never heard of any business doing that.

Also.... here in our neighbouring country malaysia there was a real case not long ago, where the robber did had HIV himself.

Well those are extreme cases. Things like that just don't happen every day. Do you have an article on the corporate business doing this?

as for corperate business doing this... I am not sure however anything can happen in office politics. Like say in order to make a person lose his position, a lower worker hires an infected person to sleep with the person.

Those are super extreme cases, and don't happen every day. Have a source to back this suggested accusation up?

I really don't. But it's plausible. and even if there are sources it wouldn't be reported in the news.

If cases like this happen, you'd sue the person with HIV and the person who set it up to the full extent of the law. Not telling someone you have HIV and giving it to them is pretty big punishments.

If you have no proof that the person instigated this beauty trap, it's useless. Usually Males are victims of this kinda traps.

It is your own duty to get tested for HIV. If you were used in such a scenario, first you would have to know you have HIV, which require a doctors test. If you know, it is your legal duty to tell your partner. If I got HIV this way, don't you think it would be a bit obvious who from?



Your idea is flawed.

How flawed is this idea? Especially if the person is using his victim's weakness against him. like say he's a flirt, likes to drink. People under the influence of alcohol and having blood in his sex organ tend to do things beyond his own will.



After the act is done, the person cleans up the traces. And if luck is against the victim. <SNAP!> You's are done for.

So you're suggesting the person just runs away after? We'll I suppose in the extreme unlikely event that this happens.. It is plausible. If a person works at your work though, you could seek to find their Social Insurance Number, which will lead you to their location if they have pursued a new job. Or you can get their current address from the employer. You'd find them. Want to know how I know? Same kind of thing happened to my mom. The deadbeat father left, and she tracked him for money with the help of past employers. It's amazing what you can find if you look hard enough.

Thats how long it takes for the HIV to develop into something that can be noticed.

And back to the topic, I really hope that new drugs can help either cure it or prevent it from spreading. I see that current HIV drugs only seek to delay the inevitable.



But I still wonder over the quarantining thing as well. It might work only for developed countries but for the developing ones, it's not going to work.

Yeah. It's really hard when HIV attacks the T-cells, the ones that actually give the message to your body saying there is a problem. And the medicine we have right now does prevent the virus by not allowing the virus' RNA strand to convert to DNA. Our T-cells, as our whole body is, is made of deoxyribonucleic acids (DNA) and RNA is harmless. So yes, the body will still contain the virus, that is until a natural body process can see it as an invader, and kill it. It will remain in your body, but is harmless if the RNA is not converted to DNA.



I tried to describe this in terms everyone can understand. If you want a more complex description of how the new medicine works, I could tell you too.

Then it destroys the T-Cell

When your T-cell count drops low enough, you get AIDS.





When you get a normal flu,

T-Cell tells the B-Cell

B-cell has a memory of the virus and makes antibodies.

When virus detected again, before you can get sick antibodies are sent out.





If the B does not know what is happening how can it make anti bodies.

Kind of devious actually,

HIV enters undetected and makes the Tcell aid in it's own destruction.

To add.. It actually isn't the HIV virus that will kill you. It's just your body is so weak, it can't even fight off common colds, or things like that.
