I don't know if it's just me, but I've noticed that as I get older holidays like Easter, Christmas and the like lose their excitement. I just don't get all excited like I used to and begin to treat them just like any other day. Anyone else feel this way?

I agree :\

But then again it's a part of growing up. We no longer believe in the fairy tales that parents told us to make those days special, so they're basically another day.

I don't get excited over Easter or Christmas either. I think everyone else are like that

I think that holidays like Easter and Christmas are for small children who still believe that there is an Easter bunny or a Santa. As we age and realize that there are no such things like the Easter bunny or Santa, the excitement is over.

*sniff* You mean.. there ISN'T an Easter Bunny or Santa Claus!? What kind of cruel world do I live in!?

Yeah, I think I already started hating them when I was 11 or 12 thanks to my annoying family...
