I believe it was 3 weeks in the PICU because of the hospital reasoning of "anesthesia". But me and my mom reasonably believes because that hospital never shared with us on a particular day their dosing, we believed malpractice happened with dosing of a particular painkiller that ultimately kicked me to the PICU. An Anesthesia specialist was weary of this even and thinks that was not right either as it happened 3 DAYS after the operation at the time of unrelated operation.

Around 30 hours, I had to stay overnight as they send I have to. I came out of Surgery past 7PM (5 hours surgery) and the doc said I was not ready to go home.

They won't send me home till I was able to pee, and in fact, and it fact it been almost 20 hours before my GG worked.

I once stayed in the hospital for a couple of hours when I was a kid because I fell out of a tree. That's been the only time I've ever been in the hospital.

When my ex wife was giving birth to my daughter. I stayed in the hospital with her for almost 2 days. About a day with our son when he was born.

As far as me having medical problems. I've never been in the ER or had a medical problem that would put me in the hospital for a matter of days. If anything I spent a few hours at the clinic over minor things like bee stings and stomach flu.

Two days after I had my tonsils removed.

5 days, I was having trouble with the sinus rhythm of my heart, which I take medication to control. That was a scary time!

Thankfully I've never had to be admitted to a Hospital as a patient *touch wood* - although I've had a few visits to A&E with various injuries sustained.. ?

My daughter was in Hospital for 6 days with breathing difficulties and low blood oxygen level when she was still quite young. Officially they put it down to rhinovirus which they described as being half way between a cold and the flu, but prescribed her an inhaler as a precaution. Luckily we haven't needed it for a while..
