Off Topix: Embrace the Unexpected in Every Discussion

Off Topix is a well established general discussion forum that originally opened to the public way back in 2009! We provide a laid back atmosphere and our members are down to earth. We have a ton of content and fresh stuff is constantly being added. We cover all sorts of topics, so there's bound to be something inside to pique your interest. We welcome anyone and everyone to register & become a member of our awesome community.

How experience do you need to be?

Personally I think that the more attention your site's getting, the more likely it is that something will go wrong (eg a hacking attempt). Your best way to mitigate and recover from incidents is knowledge and experience.

maybe, maybe not, but having a lot of cash to spend on your site/forum and to promote it, would out-beat your "internet/forum rep" any day...

Yeah, but these days the younger generation doesn't appreciate code like us ol'folks.

Sometimes I end up staring at HTML until I'm cross-eyed trying to find the one wrong character in one tag that's turned the whole page into gibberish.

But that is still better than one of those "WYSIWYG" cut and paste things that put a ton of extra garbage on it that it doesn't need, and when you end up with stuff that you do not understand on your own page.

Yes, I write my own page code for both sites.

And for a short article, I can write the thing with the <br>, <p>, and &nbsp; tags in place and have it ready to go when it's done.

I don't really care about my reputation or how perceive me. I am who I am. Take it or leave it.
