How long?

I really can't remember my first forum I just remember being on a lot of them for different websites. But think I started out in 2010.

The first forum I joined was in 2005 and it was a forum about some Canadian kids channel. I didn't really get into forums until 2009 and after a couple of years later I didn't use them as much as I used to. Now I post on them more often.

Since 25.10.2009. I was KAGE2111 in cellphone forums, the first one being iPmart. Then I became active on forums since early 2011, especially on PGC Forums.

I been on primitive message boards back in the early 2000's but I didnt really get into it until about 2007.

I've been on the internet long enough to know that primitive message boards are nothing like what people now conceive as a message board.

uBB Threads is a common misconception as a primitive message board, but they are much older than graphical interfaces.

I started out in the early 90's and loved listening to the "old-timers" talk about the "golden days" of dial-in bulletin boards and MUDs.

Heh, in the 90's I probably didn't even know how to use a computer.

I started posting on a wrestling forum in 2007, and have been posting semi-actively about message boards ever since.

I was about 14 years old (I'm 31 now). I used to have my own forum but now I just visit this one and bother the staff/members lol

2022 I started posting, but since like 2016 I’ve known them from memes on 4Chan, Tumblr, Reddit, and Newgrounds.

I signed up for my first forum in September 2004. It was the Flames (NHL team) official forum. I posted there for quite a few years and made some good friends. I'm still in contact with a few of them on Facebook. I joined a general chat forum in 2009 and had an awesome 4? 5? years there before things went south. In 2010 I joined a model horse forum (one of my hobbies), which has been another great one for me. I'm still active there.

A quick check shows I joined the forums at Hero Games, a tabletop RPG designer whose products I was a fan of in the eighties and nineties, in 2003. At the time, I was deluding myself into thinking I might get back into the hobby and had also just generally been keeping up with them since I stopped playing in the early nineties. My account is still there but I rarely visit. The next was rpg.net, a general purpose RPG site (and also one of the oldest large forum sites on the Web), which I joined in 2006. I mostly lurk there now, again because of no longer being active in the hobby. After that came wondercafe.ca, a religious and general discussion site hosted by the United Church of Canada, the denomination I grew up in. When they shut it down in 2014, I became active in creating a new site with the original name of Wondercafe2.ca where I remain the admin to this day.

It will be exactly 20 years this October.. I just finished writing up our history page with some screenshots.. but I plan on keeping my place open until I take my last breath and my husband has said that he would keep it open in my honor.

Not that I am expecting to kick the bucket anytime soon, but it is always good to have a long term plan.. :)

Since August 12, 2004.

Then I took a break in 2006 and returned in 2010.

Been pretty active since.

2009/2010 ish I wanna say? It was a wrestling forum that was focused on e-fedding first and then everything else second.

My first forum was on phpBB1.

Version 2 came out shortly after I started it, and I went to that for quite a while.

I'd say I started messing with them about 1999 or 2000.

I can’t recall the exact year, but I’ve been around for roughly 15 years. In the early days, I barely posted at all, and when I did, it was only on a handful of forums.

2007 when I first went online.
