You will notice, of course, that a significant number of African countries are NOT mentioned in the report.
 
At first glance, its' not surprising that most African countries aren't on HRW's list given the brutalities inflicted on people...it's also not surprising that most Western countries are on HRW's list; the general rule is that the more open a country is, the more human rights violations that are reported..

Yeah, I noticed the lack of info from Scandanavia as well...unlike Africa, they ain't got an excuse to hide anything. :rolleyes:
