Hurt or Comforted

Would you rather be hurt by the truth or comforted by a lie?

I detest lies and liars so I would rather be hurt by the truth.

I hate being lied to, and the truth usually comes out eventually, and when it does, it hurts more to know you were lied to in the first place!

So I'd rather just hear the truth right away, whatever that truth is.

I would much rather be hurt by the truth, than being tricked into beleiving some lie, and then finding out the truth only to be hurt more by it. It would hurt less to be told the truth in the first place and then I can try to get over it, rather than be lied to and having to deal with, not only the truth, but the fact that someone lied to me, which makes things worse.



And as Alien said, the truth always comes out in the end, which makes it worse.



I will always try to tell the truth, no matter what.

Both depending on the situation. Sometimes the truth may cause them to worsen up. It's not you're going to tell a suicidal to kill themselves.
