Yeah, I have Windows 8.1 on my new laptop. Like you said, it's tolerable once you get Classic Shell or something similar.

Yeah. The new interface might be okay on touch devices, but it's a disaster for people who use a mouse.

I'd rather have an Android tablet (actually, I do), but I was talking more about touchscreen laptops. The touchscreen laptops are ridiculously expensive, though, and I don't think I'd have much use for a touchscreen on my laptop.
