They wanted to be cheapskates and skirt regulatory rules so they idle the plant, screw over the workers and try to palm the blame off on high prices. Newsflash: everyone's in that boat, Serafin.

They didn’t want to be cheapskates by closing a plant???? That’s zero profits😂😂😂 Between terrible energy policies and regulations well beyond fair it’s killed another business.
 
I wonder how much their electricity bill is each month?

Heating tens of thousands of pounds of metal to melting point would cost thousands every day I imagine. I’m starting to think people should not be allowed to be in political power unless they have been in charge of businesses that have employees that depend on that business.

They shoulda' been upfront about it rather than try and palm off the reasons on everything else.

Just come out and say "We don't want to follow the rules 'cause it might cut into our profits so you peons working for us get the shaft instead."
