You should put as much effort into your forum as you do posting here that you are depressed. Things don't happen overnight and it takes hard work and positive attitude to make a forum successful.
Do you think potential members want to register on a site where the Admin is depressed? You truly need to change your attiutde from negative to positive and then members will come to you. Your site looks great and has potential but only if you are willing to put forth the effort to make it a place members want to join.
Do you think this in your signature (Join The Blitzkampf, damn you!) sounds like a place even you would want to join?

Seriously, if they don't do their updates, your forum won't function as their servers will crash. Imagine how upset you'll be then.Adler said:

No because it's just you posting and talking to yourself, there's no real community there. Besides, 1,000 posts is not successful.

Adler, you have to remember that not all people are interested in the theme of your forum. I, myself, like general topic forums like we have here at Off Topix.
A good example is that I'm not into sports. If a forum only wants to talk about sports then I'm not going to join.
You need to do some heavy advertising to attract people who share the same interest your forum offers.

It's not about the numbers of posts. When guests see there are only 7 registered members, that's where they have to decide if they want to join or not. You can post until doomsday but you need to up your member count.
