Frankly, I think it shouldn't matter at all. I mean we're all people right? You can't help who you get interested in or fall in love with. I do think people that think its wrong are a bit close minded.

I've argued with my mum about this recently, where the daughter of her next door neighbour has been going out with a black young man. I don't see what's wrong with having a partner that is a different race from you. One day I would like to have a girlfriend that is a beautiful Chinese girl and I don't want my mum preventing me from doing this (as she think it's wrong). However, I can understand that an interracial couple having a child together can lead to problems.

Who people fall in love with, is none of my business. Who am I or anyone else to judge them?

I think a lot of it has to do with the way you were raised. If you were raised by bigots, then you'll wind up one too.

What are some reasons people should stick to their own race?

Unfortunately, it's the children from interracial relationships that often suffer. Not being accepted by other children and sometimes family members as well. Bigots come in all ages and they are all over the world.

What are some reasons why it shouldnt matter at all?

If you mind your own business and treat others the way you want to be treated, it shouldn't matter at all. I was taught to treat people for who they are NOT what they are.

Generally I don't care. It's their own business, but muslims (arabs) in my country just use white/non-muslim girls and then go back to Morocco, Algeria, etc to find a wife. So in that case I tend to be a bit cynical and judgemental. I've seen enough girls who thought they were the exception getting hurt...

While I have an uncle who was and is apparently Racist towards Mexicans. I've never seen it in person. Especially around my sister and brother. Who are both half. Yeah, maybe most inter-racial kids will have problems in their lives due to their mixed heritage. But that's no reason to deny them life. I wouldn't trade my siblings for anything.

Interracial, homosexual, and the one thing that they do with the animal balloons and a donkey all have numerous things in common, whenever they're are done, I don't get a sudden pain in my chest, it's not hurting me and it's not hurting anybody else, if they want to pursue those routes than it's their business and their life to live.

I've never really thought that much about inter racial couples, but I think there are far

more important issues in the world today to worry about.



What ever problems may arise from such relationships, I'm sure the couples

involved will have been well aware of them from the start and if they can live

with them, good luck to them.



I wonder how many people who are against such relationships are child abusers,

rapists, murderers etc - and as such - hypocrites too !

Personally I don't have anything against it - people should be free to date whoever they want, regardless of things like race etc.
