Is God is a man or a woman?

If god were real, I’d say he’s a he. Or maybe a hermaphrodite. 😛

According to the Mythology on the Holy Trinity and how the scripture says "God The Holy Father". It's obvious this Sky Father prefers men over women if you haven't read through the misogynist remarks in the book. Not to mention he chose a male body to be his "son" who was actually "him".

*looks at quote pic above* Think about that for a moment: other than Christ, who was crucified on the cross to pay the punishment for our sins (as stated by - among others - Roman & Jewish historians Tacitus and Josephus), what other god (or goddess) would willingly take on the evils of the world and pay the penalty for those evils in our place?

Not Muhammad.
Not Buddha.
Not Tao
Nor any of the Hindu or Sikh or other gods/goddesses.

Just Christ, the Son of God, our High Priest and Intercessor. That alone makes life and all that happens in it worth living.

Argumentum Ad Populum. You guys always bring up Tacitus. He's your go to guy. Big misinterpretation there as Christians are very fond of taking his quotes and manipulating them.

in English
“Consequently, to get rid of the report, Nero fastened the guilt and inflicted the most exquisite tortures on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of one of our procurators, Pontius Pilatus, and a most mischievous superstition, thus checked for the moment, again broke out not only in Judæa, the first source of the evil, but even in Rome, where all things hideous and shameful from every part of the world find their centre and become popular. Accordingly, an arrest was first made of all who pleaded guilty; then, upon their information, an immense multitude was convicted, not so much of the crime of firing the city, as of hatred against mankind.”

Christus was a Jewish Cult and this is historical evidence of a religious movement. Pontius Pilatus was only a prefect that was keeping track of the movement. Not very convincing evidence for a Jesus. We certainly cannot leap to "those" conclusions. It evidences nothing of a deity.

Josephus)
The Josephus entry has been acknowledged as a pure forgery since the 11th century.

Then by that standard, Tempest, both Tacitus (a Roman scholar) and Josephus (a Jewish Sandhedrin scholar) must've made the same argument too, which they didn't - especially Josephus, who was critical not just of Christ (who, by the way, was an actual person who lived in Roman Judea at that time, hailing from Nazareth on the Galilean Sea) but of what eventually became what we know as the Christian faith.

You want me to keep going on the historical front there, Tempest?

This is a fallacy, the appeal to popularity. At one time almost everyone believed the earth was flat. At one time almost everyone was of the opinion that tobacco smoke was harmless.
