Two thoughts....My experience with Trump's supporters are absolute denial
(1) So what; Trump's a former President and the Israelis will listen to him if they want.
(2) Even though its' illegal, its' such a penny-anny charge no prosecutor worth their J.D. will prosecute.

Not to mention, 2016 Bernie Sanders was getting ready to be the favorite when his own party undercut him because they wanted a Clinton. That backfired. Now they literally undercut the President of this fucking country because they're so terrified that he can't beat Trump in a rematch, so they have a nominee (who nobody voted for, by the way, she was CHOSEN) to try and get the job done. That hasn't happened in most of our life times. So if your argument is only "lol Trump supporters are in denial", you have no argument.

On January 6, 2021, while congressional certification of the presidential election results was taking place in the U.S. Capitol, Trump held a noon rally at the Ellipse, Washington, D.C.. He called for the election result to be overturned and urged his supporters to "take back our country" by marching to the Capitol to "fight like hell".

Though the FBI has not found an organized plot or direct involvement by Trump, that doesn't mean that Trump didn't play an important role in instigating the violence. Earlier this year, the House of Representatives impeached Trump on the charge of "incitement of insurrection" after he spent weeks promoting conspiracy theories about the results of the 2020 election. On January 6, Trump gave a speech on The Ellipse where he urged supporters to march on the Capitol.
He also told them to "peacefully and patriotically" protest as well....
