Colour me shocked.
Absolutely unbelievable anyone could take this route - and to be planning an attack here in Melbourne, my city...It could have been anyone. Myself,m my wife and/or my kids.

I feel awful for the ten people he took with him, but not him. He made this choice, and seems more or less proud of it.

Ugh.

The more I read this story, the more I have to ask: what is it within the religion of Islam that seems to cause this?
I mean, you don't see things like this happen when someone converts to Christianity or to Judaism or most any other religion, but it always seems to happen - at least, there's the appearance of it - whenever someone converts to Islam?

I hate to even ask, but it is something in the religious waters of that particular faith that seems to hatch these things?

1. This guy would have wound up being trouble regardless of whether he converted or not. That's pretty obvious.
2. How many converts do you know? None? Thought so.
