John Barrowman Supports Tiara Appeal

THE Miss Scotland Tiara Appeal is now in full swing after its launch on Monday.



Determined Jennifer Reoch, 22, hopes to raise £100,000 to help fund research into Parkinson's disease.



And, thanks to an amazing £40,000 donation from Aberdeen oil service company Optima, the target is firmly in her sights. We told yesterday how Parkinson's sufferer Bryn Williams is leading a crusade to find a cure through his Wobbly Williams awareness group.



Amazingly, it was TV star John Barrowman who put him in contact with neurosurgeon Professor Steven Gill, who is conducting key drug trials.

Truly amazing that the neurosurgeon is Johns his brother-in-law Steven. Just shows that no matter how busy John is or how much he's got going on he never forgets others less fortunate than he. He take time to truly care about people not just as fans but as people. Big
