KFC getting rid of these items

So the only thing New Zealand gets in that list is popcorn chicken...

I love the mashed potatoes and gravy tho. The chicken tenders are good if made fresh. I do dip my tenders in with the mashed potatoes and gravy sometimes. I could even use a side of gravy to dip the tenders in. lol

My go-to order back in the 90's / early 2000's was a 3 to 5 piece chicken strip box with potato wedges, mashed potatoes and a biscuit. Don't think thats on the menu any more. :(

The box is, it's just got fries now, sadly. They're pretty sub-standard fries coated in "original recipe" spices to make them taste like the chicken batter. It doesn't work. They just plain suck.

Why would they do that? Potato wedges is what made them unique. Literally every other fast food place has fries.

I have no clue why they went that route, they lost the only thing on their menu worth having. It's such a shame. It was nice to be able to go there and get wedges, you're right, it was their one standout from every other place. No one else does wedges except those nasty overcooked ones in grocery store deli departments. I hated when they stopped serving them.

Yes!

Well I guess there is a few local places around here do wedges pretty well but as far as national chains go, they were the only ones that had them.

Just because I can get some yummy wedges locally, that doesn't mean everyone else can!

Maybe one of those delicious places will open up here one day...:)
 
I don't eat at KFC much, but I was a little surprised about the Popcorn Chicken, always kind-of associated that as one of their things.

I do like their Potpies.

I don't think I've had their pot pies, I love pot pies though.
