Before LA Knight became a major star in the WWE he had a brief run in Billy Corgan’s NWA. And it was actually quite crazy and fun to see this future legend getting a career boost. It looked like he was fading from wrestling.
After he left TNA the then Eli Drake moved on to NWA. They had recently started up a new TV Show called Powerr and they were hoovering up any former TNA talents that they could. Former TNA World Heavyweight champion Eli Drake would be one of those men. It seemed good but in NWA Nick Aldis was the focus of the company and LA Knight was left to feud with Mr Anderson/Kennedy. It was pretty depressing and I'm surprised he managed to get hired after to WWE.
