Um, actually I don't think so, but I've witnessed both judicial systems in person - but really, the foundation for the U.S. system comes from the British system, and really the 'cultural'/'social' 'differences' really aren't as many worlds apart as people make 'em out to be.

The second clip is from The Sweeney, a highly regarded cop series, again from the seventies.



Cop shows were just so different then to now. Next Beowulf will be showing you clips from Dixon of Dock Green and Z Cars
