Lesbian Dance Theory -- Continuing with the Republican attacks on the plan, Representative Lauren Boebert (R-CO) went onto Fox News to complain, claiming that the plan was taking hard earned money from Americans and giving it to "Karen's daughter's degree in lesbian dance theory" (basically strawmanning that college students only take Degrees in Useless). She was promptly mocked for such a thing, with people saying that such a class would actually be quite cool, that it would make a great band name, and some even accusing her of being an Armoured Closet Lesbian. Others took this as a good opportunity to remind everybody that Boebert is a high-school dropout who only got her GED shortly before being elected, and so it's perfectly understandable that she has no idea what degrees are offered in college.

which made me ask, "Wouldn't that be a damn good name for a rock bad nowadays?

This. So much this. I'm still convinced most of the people who scream so loudly against something are themselves in the closet and hiding that they are the very thing they profess to hate.
