What advice would you give to someone who will be living on their own for the first time?
 
Learn how to cook. You'll save a lot of money if you can cook basics like rice, veggies, soups, pastas, chicken, beans, etc. Cooking and putting things in tupperware containers to eat for later will help a lot.

BEFORE you buy booze, lottery tickets, fish bait, go to the casino, smoke up, buy lunch for your buddy.......
