Can you pick a lock? Would you think its hard to learn? Its not when you have the tools.

No. I have a friend that can. I try not to piss him of because he can open the door to my house while Im gone at work.

I'm actually considering learning how to do this... not for criminal reasons but, just in case I happen to do something stupid one day like leaving my keys at work, I can easily get inside without them.

It would be a neat skill to have..

Everyone you know would probably blame you every time something in their house goes missing though.

Yes and it's helped me several times when I was locked out of my house

It's useful. I just hate it when I'm locked out of the house and my mom has the keys and I don't have a bobby pin or something with me.

Is there no place where you could hide a spare key? I have a spare key to my house hidden on my property

I swear...we need to get copies made of that key.

I don't like lock picking. The thought of someone being able to override and lock and break in isn't welcome with me.

Like it or not, it can be done.

No.. For getting into something you've locked yourself out of. For helping those in need.

You could turn into a career and become a locksmith.

It's probably a bit trickier than sliding a bobby pin into a keyhole, though,
