How do you fare in a long distance relationship?

Honestly, I can't do it and I've never tried it. I've always dated locally or someone pretty damn close nearby from another town. Long distance never worked out for me. I've seen my friends heartbroken and unhappy because they can't see their "girlfriend" and they're even more upset when those women left them to be in a short distance, local, and real relationship.

If i told you my story you wouldn't ever believe me lol.

Long story short. I don't believe in them at all. I did once and i regret it.

Now you have to tell me. You've got my attention. Curiosity killed the cat you know lol
It's a mixed feeling, back then i thought i did my best but after a lot of years i'm starting to think that i was a lucky guy that i just lost money because of it, it could have been worse. Imagine moving to a foreign country and leaving all your friends and family to live a tremendous lie!

I actually did pretty well, when I was 16 my partner lived 200 miles away we made it work for 2 years. It wasn't the distance that broke us up, I just needed more time to focus on my studies.

I don't fancy relationship like this. like close range so we can bond better. But others that have no problem with it that's fine too

I think nowadays, with the technological advancements, long distance relationship can be maintained if both are committed. My nephew just got married with his girlfriend. They live miles apart. One in Hong Kong, another in Canada. They video chat almost every day and see each other half yearly. After three years, they got married.
