Do you believe in "love at first sight?"

Well I believe (based on my experience) that I can write a long ass article about this topic but I'd try to be as direct as possible.

Love at first sight definitely exists but I'd rather call it as "attraction at first sight" because if you are attracted to someone the moment your eyes fall on him/her, then this can pave the way for you to talk to that person more confidently and confess your attraction. In case the attraction was exchangeable, that can definitely open lots of gates and pave the road for a true love story.

I think it's more "attraction" or "lust" at first sight, but that it can grow into something more if both people feel it.

Yes exactly. It must be a two-sided attraction in order to result into a true love story afterwards. One-sided love is oftenly referred to as one-sided is really "annoying" and emotionally "harassing" with the other who doesn't feel any affection.

No. I believe in attraction at first sight, but not emotional love. Love comes later.

the heart wants what the heart wants...

you might see someone for the first time and fall in-love, but you would have to do your part in a relationship to make that love happen...

I know really, what ever happened to romance?
The world is getting far too practical
Killing yourself over someone you just met is sad in my opinion.

most of the human race lost romance and passion...

evil in most hearts, with greed and selfishness...

I will say that love is defined differently by everyone in the world. To me, I think that the attraction comes first, than the emotional attachment that we feel for that person comes after. I also believe that the same thing happens between friends of the opposite sex. Love works in strange ways and its different for everyone.

Love is more entwined with the emotional attachment part.  An example would be someone's wife/husband becoming disfigured in an accident & the spouse being un-phased by that (when it comes to being in love).
