Making Friends

]Which type of friendships are you able to create and maintain easier? Virtual / Internet Friendships or Real life ones?

For me, I have only few good friends that I love to hangout with, they are not more than 10. Other ones I know personally are just "Hi-Bye" sort of friends.

I make friends on the internet much easier because it's simpler to search for people by a common interest. Whereas in person, you have to approach a person in a situation where you are going in blindly not knowing anything about them. On a forum or some other website, you may latch on easier because you're in a place with a similar like or dislike, and then you take it from there. Plus, without being able to see them, and hiding behind a computer screen, we're not as reserved or nervous about interacting with another human being.

I make internet friends easier ...and I value a friendship on a forum as much as I would a real life friend. In fact I probably talk to you peeps more than anyone else, truth be told.

I definitely find it easier to make friends online. I have social problems in real life, so it's very difficult for me to establish friendships.

Hi Friends,

I am having friends since my school days but there are limited friends to me, not more than 10 friends since 30 years. We are all close friends meet at least once in week and enjoy. I do have internet friends in several sites. Three or four of internet friends became my phone friends and virtual friends.

Internet friendships are so much easier to make and maintain for me. My confidence is so much higher online irl situations I often end up tongue tied and lost for things to say online people struggle to shut me up.
