A Springfield man is facing indecent exposure charges after police say he stood naked inside his home as a 7-year-old boy and his mother walked by.

Twenty-nine-year-old Eric Williamson denies any wrongdoing and says any exposure was accidental.

Yes, I wasn't wearing any clothes but I was alone, in my own home and just got out of bed. It was dark and I had no idea anyone was outside looking in at me, Williamson told MyFoxDC.com in his defense. I'm a loving dad any of my friends would tell you that, Williamson said. There is not a chance on this planet I would ever, ever do anything like that to a kid.

Why in the hell were they looking in his house anyway? If you are just passing by and minding your business, then you probably wouldn't notice. She must have stopped and stared. It'd be one thing if he were naked outside of his home as he got his newspaper, but he was inside his own house and on private property. If he gets charged for indecent exposure then the woman should be charged with being a peeping tom, trespassing on private property and child endangerment.. since she was with her kid. I bet that if the roles, and genders were reversed, that he would still be the one faced with the charges above.



It is only fair I think.



But considering that her husband is a cop, it isn't likely that she'll be charged.
