Man arrested over 1,500 times

And the state's more intelligent than it's people and knows what's best for it's people? No. Since the man's already been arrested 1500 times for the same thing, then it's better to get him help or therapy or treatment for alcoholism and should be in one of those
"correction center", rather than imprisoned for it.

You can't help people who don't think they need help. This man is a chronic alcoholic and obviously has no family support system or place to stay. Don't you see by doing what he's doing he's famous 'in his own mind' and that makes him keep doing this over and over. Now that he got the medias attention, who knows what might happen next. Perhaps some charity or some organization will step forward to help him. But, as I said, you can't help someone who doesn't think they need help.

At least in jail, he's off the street and not bothering the public. Yeah, he gets free food and a free roof over his head but what's the better option here?

And problem is: we, common people, need to pay for his "free" stuff...eh? Is it fair for other people? No.

Then why not have him move in with you? Good solution?

He can be sentenced to community service and live in re-integration camps.

I'm pretty sure that will cost the tax payer more money.
