I grew up in households where marriage was a constant struggle. I have never witnessed a marriage that actually worked or lasted, so my experience with marriage was simply disastrous. I have never been interested in getting married myself and I don't find that I'm missing out on it. The idea of integrating your life with another person is terrifying to me, and I don't feel I could go through with it.
That's not to say marriage is inherently bad or all struggle. Sure, there are going to be bumps in the road, and many people have successful marriages, but it is just not the kind of institution I want to be involved in.
