What are some of the disadvantages of wearing eyeglasses?

If you have some itchiness in the face it will be troublesome Most of the time eyeglasses needs to be adjusted for better view.

Eye glasses need to be cleaned really good before watching tv or driving. Otherwise you'll have trouble seeing out o them.

I don’t wear sunglasses unless I’m driving.

The fact that you rely on an accessory to be able to see properly..
The additional cost of needing to buy glasses..
The "nerd" perception - though I've learnt to embrace it..
Cuddles - I've accidentally jabbed or scratched my girlfriend with the frame of my glasses a couple of times..
They often steam up in cold weather when you move from outdoors to in..
They often steam up when wearing a COVID face mask..
When it rains, they're near enough useless..

Just having to wear them in general really. I don't like wearing them outside since I don't have to rely on them that much.

But I do have to wear them when I'm driving which I hate.

I wear sunglasses and when I sweat and bend down, they keep slipping down my nose or once they even fell completely off and into the lake. lol

The most disadvantage is feeling uncomfortable. I am wearing a pair of eyeglasses not that very long. Until now, I am still not use to it.
