Memorial Day is a United States federal holiday that honors soldiers and is observed on the last Monday of May (May 30 in 2011).

Do you have the day off?

I'm working and it's one of the busiest days for emergency response calls. The State Police and Sheriff Departments are beefing up their patrols as well.

I am unsure if I'll be working. I imagine the weekend will be busy with customers coming in and getting lots of stuff for BBQ's and the like.

We have a day like that... it's not today though so no, I don't have the day off

Oh, turns out I do have that day off. I think I'm just gonna sleep and watch tv. And stuff.

I'm off school. I don't (think I) have anyone in my immediate or closely related family to celebrate for. I'll probably spend my day sleeping.
