Minutes or Unlimited?

I have cricket. ( http://www.mycricket.com/ )

Its only $35 a month ($40 with taxes/fees).. I have unlimited texts and minutes.

The only catch is, I cant really travel with it. It works within a 100 mile radius.

If I want to go outside that area, I have to either have no phone or put minutes on my phone and use it like a prepaid phone. I think its 25 cents a minute.

Whoa, never heard of any plan like that. That's pretty cool, not bad..Where is that? Never heard of it.

Even with Cricket's unlimited plan, if you go over some limit, they will throttle you.

There is NO truly "unlimited" data plan. Everybody, even high bandwidth landline service through cable or fiber can and will yank you back if you go over their limit.

I switched to Metro PCS since I posted last in this thread.
My bill $50 a month and I get unlimited everything + 2 gigs of 4G data a month (switches over to 3G for the rest of the month if I run out)
