Missouri school district brings back corporal punishment.

Let’s make this nationwide
Yeah, no.

Too many parents would love for their schools to lay their hands on their kids like in olden days....well, fuck that. Parents' ought to tell them, "If my kid needs a hand laid on them, I'll do it myself, not you."

Of course my state would pull crap like this. If you want to punish your own children with spankings, that's your prerogative and I won't intervene. However, the teachers should NOT be able to hit a misbehaving child.

Yeah, no.

Too many parents would love for their schools to lay their hands on their kids like in olden days....well, fuck that. Parents' ought to tell them, "If my kid needs a hand laid on them, I'll do it myself, not you."

You know seeing just how terrible and violent this generation is towards authority figures I’m all for it. Otherwise teach your kids at home if you have a kid who can’t act like a normal person in society. The schools have allowed the children to run the insane asylum because they were worried about feelings. Well it’s a long time coming they take back the asylum.

How about not having children in the first place? If they don't exist, they can't misbehave. Problem solved.

Not an option? Okay then. Beat away. Teach the young ones that violence solves everything. Raise generation after generation of humans who will simply use physical violence as a "solution" for their future family problems. When their children refuse to eat vegetables - strike them. Show them who's the boss. When they accidentally break something - break their bones.

Teachers or parents, violence solves nothing. It might have a temporary effect, but in the long run it'll come back to bite you in the ass like a rabid dog. Those same parents will one day become old and depended on their children to provide and care for them. An excellent opportunity for the abused children to give their parents proverbial and / or literal middle finger and tell them to drop dead if they can't take care of themselves.

So yeah, beat away.

How about not having children in the first place? If they don't exist, they can't misbehave. Problem solved.

Well we know that’s not going to happen.

Not an option? Okay then. Beat away.

Well not exactly beat away😂

Teach the young ones that violence solves everything.

It kinda does throughout history. It may not be what you want solved but it does end with a answer.

Raise generation after generation of humans who will simply use physical violence as a "solution" for their future family problems.

Well depending on how strength is used and it can be used compassionately, yes it will create a solution. Sorry just being kind to children with no strict guidelines and morality that have no decisive consequences if you break them is and has been a utter failure for our children. We’ve got 50 million kids who can’t read and write at a 5th grade level. We’ve thrown out morality and now we have children with mental issues, drug use, suicides, pretending to be something they aren’t. A generation with no compass to guide them. So yes we need a bit of discipline to bring the next one generation right.

When their children refuse to eat vegetables - strike them.

No make them sit at the table 4 nights in a row for dinner until it’s eaten and it was mushrooms. That was me at 8 years old a battle I lost. With a more stubborn opponent. I just ate what I was given after that. Well until I was a adult.

Show them who's the boss.

Absolutely!

When they accidentally break something - break their bones.

Nobody is saying that in this article. Work it off until it’s paid maybe though.

Teachers or parents, violence solves nothing.

It actually solves pretty much everything for the victor. I got suspended for 12 weeks because someone was harassing my girlfriend in the 7th grade. I remember my sensei in taekwondo said once you commit to fight treat it like it’s your life. We got off the bus and I took it to heart and he had stitches in his head from me kick his legs out out from behind him and then I proceeded to smash his head in the concrete until three teachers removed me. I PROMISE YOU IT GOT AROUND AND NOBODY BOTHERED HER AGAIN! Violence works! It’s not always recommended but it works. I had to do summer school because of it but I got respect and it was worth it!

It might have a temporary effect,

Of course, you constantly have to remind people what is going to happen.

but in the long run it'll come back to bite you in the ass like a rabid dog.

Only if you are inconsistent or the weaker one. But we’re not talking about physical damage we’re talking about learning respect.

Those same parents will one day become old and depended on their children to provide and care for them.

I was a stubborn pain in the ass teenager. I didn’t break the law or take drugs I just hated authority figures and if everyone was going one way I just wanted to go the other. Make story short by the time I was two weeks away from turning 17 years old my father just had it with me. And I came home at 2 am on my motorcycle and the moment I opened the door my father had me by the shirt swung me around and slammed me up against the wall. I put my hands in a fighting position. He says you want some of this next thing I knew I was rolled over on the ground gasping for air because I wasn’t about to fight back. This violence absolutely solved the issue, I moved out became homeless on the streets and taught me I need to get my life in order and I did. My father and I are now best friends.

An excellent opportunity for the abused children to give their parents proverbial and / or literal middle finger and tell them to drop dead if they can't take care of themselves.

Again a bit overboard on what this article is proposing.

So yeah, beat away.

Well sort of.
